Patricia is an accomplished Fantasy artist working in watercolor and acrylics. Her style is clearly influenced by the Japanese wood block prints from the Edo period called, Ukiyo-e, which translates to “pictures of the floating world.” Keeping her paintings light and delicate, but with the bold colors and patterns typical of the latter end of that period. “Ever since I can remember, art has always been a part of my life. I guess I was just born into it.” She pursued love of art through two degrees. Receiving her BFA at the University at Buffalo and a MA at Syracuse University. In 2002 began exhibiting in art shows all across the country and has won a number of awards for her Japanese style work. Patricia continues to show at convention art shows and lives in New York City with her family.

What i like about Patricia is that she was inspired by Japanese Art from The Edo period. This is like a thing i could say we have in common, the 'liking for Japanese Art or related things' I love Japanese art, that is the Japanese women dressed in Kimonos and having their make up on, is a very beautiful tradition of the Japanese. So getting all that in her works is pretty inspiring for a fellow person who's interested in Japanese Art/Culture. Japanese culture is what i've always been interested in for years, To this point i've never considered getting them in my works, I plan on going to Japan sooner or later for vacations or so, and explore everything about the culture, visit all the Art Galleries i could possibly think of, and so on.In future i definitely plan on getting this interest of mine i.e ; the Japanese Culture into my paintings.
Some of my favorites

These are some of Patricia's works which interested me, The Japanese Culture, here , the Japanese women dressed in Kimonos, with make up, and accessories. These type of women are usually known as 'The Giesha'. What i also like is the fact that she signed her name in the Japanese Kanji writing. Her works truly are elegant and have beauty in them. It captivated me.
